Many hours of concentrated labor have been invested in each piece. A true artist, Heifara creates only one of a kind pieces: utilizing the rare and extremely beautiful black pearls of Tahiti, carved shell, bone, feathers, fresh water pearls and small sea shells from Kauai, Niihau and Tahiti. Heifara is also an accomplished musician and stone sculptor. First, the correct species of coconut is chosen and then real work begins. Constant soaking, pounding and cleaning of each strand of fiber takes place before Heifara begins a new creation. Enjoy wearing this special piece in the ocean and the shower...water doesn't hurt the fiber.

"She was my love, best friend, and work partner" he said. He continues to create arts, believes that his wife is very proud of him.
